Resilience is the ability to bounce back from stress, adversity, failure, challenges, or even trauma.
Parents and teachers can help kids build resilience by teaching them to solve problems independently. How can they do that? Here we mention some of the things we, as parents and teachers, can do to teach resilience; during the coming weeks, we will talk a little more about each of them. -Build a Strong Emotional Connection -Promote Healthy Risk-Taking, - Resist the Urge to Fix It and Ask Questions Instead, -Teach Problem-Solving Skills, -Label Emotions, - Demonstrate Coping Skills, -Embrace Mistakes—Theirs and Yours, - Promoting the Bright Side—Every Experience Has One - go outside. Books are an excellent tool to show children different emotions and talk about resilience and ways to cope. them too. Books make us look inside and outside our world.

This is the time to build the foundation of character and cognitive abilities children require to succeed in school and life. But what can we do as parents or teachers to help them develop their character and potential cognitive skills? We can give them the love and respect that they deserve. We can surround them with books, encourage them to explore, stimulate their curiosity, ask, and answer questions, and make them think outside the box. We can promote social interaction and play with others. Stimulate and encourage dramatic play and ways to express themselves and their creativity. Those are some things we adults can do to help our children.books and educational activities for the 4th of July

Super cute story and illustrations. It's a book that highlights friendship and getting along with your little siblings. As I read this to the little ones, they wanted to know more and couldn't wait to find out what happened to Lou's mane. I highly recommend this story with its colourful illustrations and adorable story. (less) Thank you so much. Giraffe is Lou’s best friend. She is a calm, sweet and friendly animal who gets along well with everybody in the jungle. Giraffe is always helping her friends, when they are in trouble, especially Lou. Lou knows that he always can count on her, so when Lou needed her to find his mane, she jumped at once to help him, and during this ordeal, Giraffe was always there, reassuring Lou and making him feel her support. This is a lesson in the story about friendship, resilience, empathy and solidarity. You can find Lou and his mane at Amazon.com.
A child who begins kindergarten knowing letters and sounds is cognitively prepared but if a child does not understand how to listen, share, take turns, and get along with others, all the preparation will not be enough to reach his or her full potential and has a stimulating learning experience
